Muslim Workers Activities, Inc is registered under section 402 of the Not for Profit Corporation Law as a Type B corporation pursuant to section 201.

The purpose or purposes for which the organization is formed are as follows:

To advise, assist, cooperate and guide the Muslim Community in the United States;

To advance, promote, publish, spread and enlighten the teachings of Islam and the values of human life and for that purpose to hold periodic meetings;

To invite scholars and other dignitaries to deliver lectures on Islam, its universal teachings, values of human life and on the present-day evils of the society;

To do research and find practical solutions of the socio-economic problems of the Muslim Community;

To render monetary assistance to needy Muslims on a charitable basis;

To make, receive and collect donations and charitable contributions and to invest and reinvest its funds for the benefit of its members;

To assist and cooperate with other organizations formed for similar purposes;

To own, operate and maintain membership clubs, club houses, recreation centers, and other buildings for the foregoing purposes.

(also known by its acronym MWA) presently does NOT collect or solicit money, funds or other financial commodities from any individual, group, organization or entity, whether governmental or non-governmental, or foreign or domestic. Please report to the appropriate legal state and federal authorities, any individual or entity claiming to represent the corporation and requesting any type of monetary or financial instruments.
